For the past twenty years, Lisa has been inspiring children to gain confidence in themselves and their abilities. Lisa loves providing an environment where children explore their creativity and build a strong foundation for academic life.
Lisa believes that all children deserve access to the best possible resources from the very beginning. When children’s natural curiosity is nurtured through a dynamic curriculum and sensitive and supportive teaching, children can accomplish anything.
Lisa has studied acting in London, and continues to work professionally as an actress, director, costume designer and costumer with theaters and dance troupes such as New York’s Playwrights’ Horizons, the New Jersey Ballet, The Rhode Island Shakespeare Theater, Seedling Acting Co., the Island Moving Co., and the Newport Playhouse.
As the mother of a son and daughter and stepmother to two daughters, she is sensitive to the needs of both parents and children.
Lisa is the director of KinderArt and conducts the school’s music program.

Our faculty is excited about your child’s growth. We blend our expertise in innovative teaching, with a true passion for nurturing children.
Each class is taught by qualified, caring professionals who are dedicated to fostering your child's natural curiosity and joy in learning.
Our adjunct faculty teaches the specialized parts of our curriculum such as Spanish, yoga, art, computer skills and creative movement.
We create our curriculum to facilitate your child’s exploration and discovery in each subject area. We offer diverse modalities so your child can learn in his or her own way. Learning happens through play and through engaging your child’s own excitement about a topic.
Our faculty prepares our curriculum, including all subject areas of the Rhode Island Early Learning Standards, social and emotional development, language development and communication, literacy, mathematics, science, creativity and physical health and development.
Our dedication is to each child as a whole person and to every family as well. When you walk in the door at KinderArt, you’ll discover that our staff is creative and nurturing, not only with students, but with entire families. It’s a natural part of life here at KinderArt, listening to and connecting with families, and sharing the joy and excitement that comes from watching children grow.
